Mammillaria painteri fa. monstrosa is a well known form in cultivation. I have had Mammillaria bocasana cv. caterpincy. I suspect that both are the same cultivars.

Mammillaria painteri forma monstrosa
Mammillaria painteri fa. monstrosa is a well known form in cultivation. I have had Mammillaria bocasana cv. caterpincy. I suspect that both are the same cultivars.
